Dinah Press is an independent, diverse and collectively run press that publishes highly crafted works of fiction, non-fiction and poetry. We value immediacy, passion and daring as much technical strength in writing – whether in prose, lyric or linguistic experimentation. We want to amplify stories, characters, ideas and questions that have been submerged or under-represented in mainstream social imaginations and literary traditions. As a press, we also believe in capacity and community-building. As such, we blur the boundaries between artist and editor by inviting each author we publish to join the editorial collective for one year.
